
Dan LaPlaca, MEd, ATC, Physical Therapist
Dan is an owner and co-founder of PRO Physical Therapy, Inc. He holds degrees from Plymouth State University of the University System of New Hampshire, University of Virginia, and Medical University of South Carolina. He has experience in several healthcare settings and patient populations as a Physical Therapist. As a Certified Athletic Trainer, he has worked with athletes at all levels from recreational to professionals. He has earned continuing education certificates in manual therapy and ergonomics assessment. His professional memberships include National and South Carolina chapters of both the APTA and the NATA.
Erin Alley, MPT, Physical Therapist
Erin earned her undergraduate degree from Brown University where she played soccer and was an All American lacrosse player. Her Graduate Degree in Physical Therapy was earned at the University of Colorado Health Science Center. Erin has expertise in orthopedics, myofascial release, gait and balance problems, injury prevention and women's health. She is also a member of the American Physical Therapy Association in both the women's health and geriatric sections
Theresa A. Wagoner, Physical Therapist
Theresa earned her physical therapy degree form Ithaca College in Ithaca, NY. In her 15 year history as a physical therapist, she has practiced in various settings ranging from hospitals to specialized outpatient therapy clinics.
Theresa has experience with a wide range of orthopedic diagnoses and also has continuing education certificates in manual therapy, LE biomechanics and spinal care therapy. She is also a professional member of APTA.

Lori Geddings, Ocupational Therapist
Lori attended undergraduate school at Georgia Southern University and she earned her Occupational Therapy degree from the Medical College of Georgia. She has experience in a variety of healthcare settings and wide range of patient populations. Her expertise includes orthopedics, hand injuries, splinting, stroke and general rehabilitation. Lori lives in Henderson County with her husband Jay and her two beautiful children Jackson and Madison.
Yvonne Dessoffy, Physical Therapy Assistant
Yvonne received her Physical Therapist Assistant degree from St. Petersburg College, Florida. She has primarily practiced in outpatient orthopedic clinics with experience in many facets. Yvonne has been involved in the health and fitness profession for 20 years. In addition to enjoying her role as a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant, she is an enthusiastic group exercise instructor of fitness classes.

Nancy Cunningham, Therapy Aide
Nancy graduated as a French major from Muhlenberg College, in Pennsylvania. After graduation she and her husband made their home in the U. S. Virgin Islands and Costa Rica, Central America for more than thirty years. Nancy's first foray into the health field was a Personal Trainer Certification from "El Instituto de Salud" (Institute of Health) in Costa Rica and later as an AAFA Certified Trainer. She has now been in the field for over fifteen years. The Carolinas have been home for the past four years.
Jordan Edwards, Therapy Aide
Jordan recently earned his Bachelors of Science degree in Health and Wellness Promotion from the University of North CArolina at Asheville. He has also completed an internship with the Strength and Conditioning Coach at UNC-Asheville and is certified as a Sports Performance Coach through United States Weight Lifting Association. He is a native of Polk County and his future endeavors include enrolling in graduate school for physical therapy, exercise science/kinesiology or MAT program.

Mark Hughes, Personal Trainer
Mark has been a fitness enthusiast for over 30 years. He is certified through ISSA as a fitness trainer and currently trains and competes in local body building competitions, recently winning third in his class at the Carolina Super Natural in Spartanburg. He is also a two time competitor in the Dixie Bodybuilding Competition.
He is certified as an INERTIK (Injury Reduction Technologies Tester) and has worked as a strength tester for large local and national clients. Currently enrolled in Greenville Technical College, Mark is working hard to obtain his Physical Therapy Assistant Degree. Sports, car racing, snow skiing, motorcycles, hiking, strength training, and fitness, are all hobbies Mark enjoys while not on the clock.
Tammy Warren, Administrative Assistant
Tammy has been a resident of Polk County for 8 years. She has been in the medical/mental health field for 9 years working as an assistant accountant and front desk of a doctor's office. She also has experience in Nutritional counseling and has helped many on the road to better health and loosing weight. Tammy is manager of the PRO Health & Fitness Center and serves as Administrative Assistant to owner, Dan LaPlaca.
Chip Grochowski, Therapy Aide
Chip is a native of Columbus, NC and a graduate from Polk County High School. He is currently enrolled at Western Carolina University. Chip is on pace to graduate this August with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Sport Management. Chip has been accepted into graduate school for Physical Therapy.
