Occupational Therapy

Aquatic Therapy
What is Aquatic Therapy?

Aquatic Therapy is an excellent way to rehabilitate those with neurological and musculoskeletal difficulties. The buoyancy of the water decreases the impact of gravity while promoting easier movement and benefit to muscles and joints. There is no other therapy that provides a zero impact environment. The therapy pool provides a great opportunity to exercise and gain strength while also offering a comfortable environment where you can re-initiate arm, leg and body movement. Sports Medicine

PRO Physical Therapy has contracts with local schools and event coordinators to provide on-site sports medicine services. These services are provided by a certified Athletic Trainer or a licensed Physical Therapist. We work with coaches, physicians, and athletes to provide immediate access to clinical services in order to get injured athletes back in action as quickly and safely as possible.
